The hatching

The rock was on the beach. It was smooth and circular. It was

huge.

I was walking on the beach with my golden retriever when suddenly

Out of nowhere, an oddly shaped object came hurtling down from the sky. It went into the sand with a loud thump creating a little crater. The rock was on the beach. It was smooth and circular. It was huge probably bigger than the biggest boulder. I wondered if it was an alien spacecraft or, or an ginormous egg or an asteroid. “I should ring the athouritys shouldn't I scotter” woof he barked back at me and ran up to the rock and growled at it there was definitely something weird about that rock. I snatched my phone out of my pocket and dialed the emergency services beep boop boo “hello, what emergency service do you need” all of them, something just fell out of the sky “they'll be there soon” 5 MINUTES LATER eeeeeeeeooooooooeeeeeeoooo they were here “where’s the problem” in that small crater I said. They looked down into the crater and talked to each other we’ll have to tape it off and get some scientists down here they said in a quiet voice, then they turned back to me and told me I should stay away from the huge boulder “I said to them that that's okay” it nearly squashed me flat. But when I got home I tried to have a sleep but I couldn't without knowing what's inside so I raced down the stairs, chucked on my jacket and slammed the door behind me I had hired a forklift for heavy lifting and moving I jumped in, started the engine and the forklift and it trundeled down the road I made it to the rock they had taped it off with yellow tape I drove the forklift through the tape and picked up the rock and drove it home when I placed the rock in my garage there was a crash I’d cracked it when I got out of the forklift and run over to the rock there was a big claw sticking through the rock it was hatching CCCCCCCRRRRRRRAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKK a huge head popped out it was a dragon it stepped out bent down and bit off my head.

Stranded

Sick sentences:  We Made it to the small desolate island. We saw the

tall towering trees and the warm yellow sandy beach. We sat on

the beach with grains of sand draining through our fingers and

toes. I was exhilarated by the view and the one thought hovering

in my mind.

We Made it to the small desolate island. In front of us stood

tall towering trees and the warm yellow sandy beach. We sat on

the beach with grains of sand draining through our fingers and

toes. I was exhilarated by the view and the one thought hovering

in my mind. We had spotted the Island on the horizon,  we had

checked the map but the island wasn't listed. There was just a

blank expanse of water. We had discovered a new Island, though I

found it a bit strange because the world had satellites which

should have picked it up, but at that moment my friend

interrupted my thoughts saying “come on, let’s swim in that

watering hole!” gesturing at a large mass of water. So I ignored

my thoughts and clambered off the boat and raced over to the pool

of water. We spent maybe an hour or two splashing and swimming

from side to side, when dad called us back to the boat we jumped

aboard and he started up the boat. Phhhtt the engine sputtered. I

ran up to the front of the boat and checked the fuel meter and

the tank was full of fuel, but we weren’t moving. “I knew there

was something wrong with this Island” I exclaimed. So we were

stuck on this Island. Now the lovely island seemed a lot

spookier. The bird’s were silent the whole Island was silent it

felt like we were rocking and sinking lower we all ran to the

highest point you could see the whole Island It was sinking! We

ran down to the boat and jumped on cause it floats we jumped on

and went below decks. No the boat was sinking with the island!

Splash a huge wave engulfed the boat dragging it under my last

thought was that at least I died in a beautiful part of the ocean

looking at the coral.

The Journey

The turtle shoves its legs out of the shell. It flutters its

eyes, shaking the sand out of them as it looked at the beach

ahead. Soon, he would be free. Soon, he would have to tackle his

next enormous challenge. It wasn’t going to be easy. His epic

journey was only just beginning. CAAWWWW  A noise that chilled my

blood

(hey just wait a moment, turtles are cold blooded aren’t , they.)

Three enormous albatross were  perched on a jagged piece of wood that had rotted

away like the rest of the wharf. CAAWWWW  they swooped down on me EEKKKKK

they were going to eat me, I scuttled through the sand. As fast as I could go I headed

towards the trees for cover. Phew i’m safe!  “at least for now” I thought Brrr I’m

getting quite cold the dark cold shadows were looming over me maybe I should out

from the shadows and into the sun but then the albatross might come back though I

have no choice I made a run for it CAAWWWW the albatross were back and they were

gaining “ I might make it “ I thought splash! I landed in the water with a flying leap I

swam out to  the opening of the bay when something sped through the water and

CHOMP!  A shark ate the baby turtle

Moon landing

 Moon Landing

All seemed to be going well, but then the warning alarm on the ship sounded…

“Houston. Houston come in! Houston, we have a problem…”

Alarms were blaring all over the ship, our antennas & one of engines are out sir the
engineer yelled over the sirens.  I ran to the window we were striking a asteroid
field, I checked the scanner, we were nearly to mars and our blasters are still in one
piece maybe we could blast the rocks and maybe touchdown on the moon.
KAPOW our fins were taken out by the asteroids. Start up our last engine
full speed and try head to the moon before were pulverized  by the asteroids I
shouted! The ship started propelling through space slow down a bit I shouted into
the intercom CRRRKKK Sir the switch is jammed I can’t stop. Get on a space suit and
get the crew and equipment up here A.S.A.P.  CRRRKKK. As soon as the crew got
up we zoomed over the moon and dropped the equipment onto the moon then pulled
on space packs and jetted down to the moon clad in space suits zoom the rocket
speed down and crashed in to the surface of the moon as they hunted for their gear
they had landed on the MOON
