Richie McCaw Writing

PPPHHHHHHEEEEEEEETTTTTT the whistle was blowen the all blacks got the ball. The ball came towards Richie. He jumped into the air. He held out his hands. He was excited. It was up to him.  Woosh the oval object speed towards me it flew down out of the sky. My legs bent downwards, my feet left the ground I was like a spring that had been coiled down and let go. Hands rushed out but mine were the closest with a thud the ball landed in my hands.  Adrenaline coursed through me my lungs felt like bursting as I quivered. I ran hard I knew if I was tackled we would lose a try so I ran as hard as I could when I dived for the try the whistle blew I knew I was the one who scored the first try.

" Phew " it was half time it was a tight match but we were winning 18 nil to zero the Aussies won't beat us this time we'll beat them with double these points Richie thought we have just enough time to have a team talk and practice a little bit.  After the team talk and practice we went out onto the field to get into a scrum with the wallabies PPPHHHHHHEEEEEEEETTTTTT we started to hustle the game went off to a good start Full Back Christian Cullen got the ball and ran in for a try but was cornered by the wallabies he tossed the ball over their heads with a thud it landed in my hands where I looked at it in surprise then sprinted for all I was worth.

“ WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE ” we won 36 nil as I predicted plus we got the Bedisloe cup Dan Carter scored the last points by converting my try at the last minute and I still can’t quite believe we won!
